. . .
For the past (almost) decade, I’ve had the privilege of working as an interior photographer based in Omaha, Nebraska. This work has taken me into so many beautiful spaces throughout the Midwest and introduced me to incredible people whose creativity & vision have inspired me in countless ways. I’ve loved capturing the little moments and unique touches that make each space feel special, and I’m truly grateful for the experiences and connections photography has brought into my life.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be wrapping up the final photoshoots on my calendar. Each one feels a little bittersweet, part celebration of what I’ve been able to create and part acknowledgment that it’s time for a change. Once those projects are complete, I’ll be hitting pause on my interior photography business. In recent months, I’ve felt the pace of my work catching up with me and I know I need to step back, take a breath, and give myself space to think about what’s next.
As my children grow and our family’s needs change, I’m craving more time with them and a chance to rediscover the joy that first brought me to photography. I want to create simply for the love of it while exploring new ideas and passions. This pause isn’t the end, but rather a chance to step away from the noise, listen to what inspires me, and decide where I want to go from here.
I’ll be sharing bits and pieces of this next part of my journey - creative projects, personal photography and the things inspiring me here on my blog as well as my Instagram. Your encouragement and support have meant the world to me and I’m so thankful you’re here as I step into this new season with an open heart and a curious spirit.
With love & gratitude,
Mandy
